I thought you were an outlaw?

What does training mean to you? Can you live without your training? I feel the need to always be active, to always do something physical, even if it’s only 100 push ups in one day. My mind and body crave this stuff.

When I was in high school I used to cut school so I could get to the gym during the day and then my parents would drop me off at the gym in the evening. I had to get my fix, and I was definitely addicted.

I still am, except now I am more level headed! Well, maybe not! I would much rather call this a love for what I do, a burning passion, not an addiction. Those who love to train are the one’s who are truly in the best shape.

If you are the type who must be coerced into training regularly then you are likely to be in average shape at best. My motivation remained high by changing what I do on a regular basis.

Once I started my ‘Underground’ training, as you can see in my first DVD ‘Ancient Training Methods’ - http://combatgrappler.com/ancient.html - my motivation and passion skyrocketed to even greater levels!
Now people like yourself have found the world to be their go anywhere gym! Fresh air is the best so make sure you get enough of it, without it, you’ll become irritated, moody, and your performance will drop.

You will test your limits in a much different manner than usual when training outdoors as well, and you won’t feel trapped into any routine.

The old gym I used to train at, Diamond Gym, allowed us freedom to train how ever we wanted. The owner that the training was our art, and he allowed us “outlaws” to bring in our own music, so we could create the atmosphere best to suit our own needs. The guys who owned motorcycles parked them on the sidewalk right in front of the gym, just like the outlaws did of the old west, when “parking” their horses outside of the saloon!

If you want to be an outlaw then you need to break away from the rote routine of staying in the gym every time you train!

See you out in the wild!
